Help Wanted of the Day: 89-year-old Aaron Biber has been cutting hair in Tottenham for decades.

Last year, Aaron lost his wife. This year, he lost his business. Rioters ransacked his barbershop, smashed windows, and stole hairdryers. “I will probably have to close because I haven’t got insurance and I can’t afford the repairs,” Aaron says.

“Not so fast,” responds the Internet. A website has been launched to help Aaron fix his shop. So far nearly £17,000 have been donated.

HARRY POTTER GIVEAWAY:

Slytherin scarf (never worn), Hedwig stuffed animal (moveable head and squeaking noise), Hogwarts journal (blank paper), Slytherin journal (lined paper) and one Ollivander’s wand (January-Feburary birthday).

Basically, I went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in December, and bought a bunch of stuff.  However, for my birthday, my Grandma and Grandpa got me almost exactly the same things I bought while I was there off of the website, so now I have duplicates.  I decided to give some of my stuff to you lovely followers :)  

Basic guidelines: you MUST be following me (5-4-11.tumblr.com) and you must reblog this post.  You can reblog it as many times as possible, but likes don’t count.  I’ll be using one of those things that chooses a random number or whatever the fuck (like random.org) to pick my winner, so the more times you reblog, the bigger chance you get.  

As expected, the journals don’t have any writing in them and the scarf has been worn once and dry-cleaned.  I’ll be choosing five winners - one item to a person - and whoever replies to my ask first gets to choose what they want.
